Djula, Sapti Heru Widiyarti Tambunan, Evelyn Hemme |
The present study examines the relationship between high altitude and anxiety levels among employees at one of Indonesia’s leading petrochemical company. Using a quantitative research design, the investigation focused on 42 employees working in distinct altitude zones within the facility. Data were collected over a six month period during normal operational hours, employing the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) as the standardized psychological assessment tool. Altitude measurements for work zones were recorded precisely, with categorized levels defines as low, moderate, high and very high altitude zone. Descriptive statistics, including means, standard deviations, and range values, were computed and correlation tests conducted R programming to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between altitude and anxiety. Results revealed the mean HARS scores among 42 participants was 21.4 (SD = 5.7), with a range of 11 to 33 whilst a statistically significant positive correlation between increased altitude exposure and elevated anxiety scores (r = 0.68, p < 0.001), suggesting that higher work zone are associated with greater anxiety levels among employees. This study also discusses occupational health and safety concerns, ethical considerations, and the limitations intrinsic to a cross-sectional quantitative design. Implications for workplace design and employee well-being interventions are explored, with recommendations for future research addressing broader environmental and psychosocial variables.

| 1670924 | #7252 | The Use of the Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing (Push) in Patients with Pressure Ulcers and Multimorbidity: A Case Study |
Aulia, Syifa Nurul Harun, Hasniatisari Rahayu, Urip |
Pressure ulcers are a complication that becomes more complex when experienced by patients with multimorbidity such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and thrombocytopenia. These conditions can lead to prolonged healing, high risk of infection, systemic complications, and even death. Interventions must be accompanied by appropriate tools to evaluate wound healing optimally. The Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing (PUSH) is a tool for accurately, practically, and simply assessing the progression of pressure ulcers. However, its use for evaluating pressure ulcers remains limited. The objective to describe the use of PUSH in patients with pressure ulcers and multimorbidity. Method: This study used a case study design involving a 56-year-old patient with a grade III pressure ulcer on the buttocks measuring 121.5 cm2 with granulation tissue, minimal necrosis tissue, pus, and active bleeding. Wound progression was evaluated using PUSH over 4 days during wound care. The results that the PUSH score increased to 16 with a wound size of 150 cm2 moderate exudate, and extensive necrosis tissue. This indicates that the wound condition has not improved, prompting an evaluation of the wound care and factors hindering wound healing. Although PUSH aids clinical decision-making, it has limitations in assessing wound depth and systemic conditions as it only evaluates three parameters. The PUSH instrument is a simple and efficient tool for monitoring the healing of pressure ulcers and has the potential to indicate changes in wound condition as a result of an intervention, thereby aiding clinical decision-making. PUSH is recommended for routine use in clinical practice, while continuing to evaluate systemic conditions comprehensively and involving a multidisciplinary team.

Nur, Nabila Rahma Ermiati, Ermiati Praptiwi, Atlastieka |
Introduction, early detection of cancer is an important action in addressing the high incidence breast cancer cases. The easiest early detection that women could do is breast self-examination(BSE). Previous research indicated a gap between knowledge and behavior towards breast self-examination. Intrinsic motivation is needed by women to perform breast self-examination. This study aimed to identify the intrinsic motivation of women reproductive age in performing breast self-examination in Kebonwaru District Bandung. Methods, this study was a descriptive quantitative study, the study population was women in reproductive ages. The samples were chosen using the simple random technique (n = 344). Data was collected using Intrinsic Motivation Inventory instrument which has been back-translated. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the proportion of respondents who had the high intrinsic motivation and low intrinsic motivation were almost the same (54.1% and 45.9% respectively). The majority of respondents (84% of) had a high perception of importance and usability of BSE. 66.3% of respondents had a perception of suitability and interest along with high competence perception. In addition, 56.4% of respondents had a high perception of effort and choice. However, 57.4% of respondents reported an increased sense of stress and nervous when performing BSE. Conclusion, there is a need to maximize cancer prevention and promotion programs.  For example, health education related to cancer prevention and treatment,  accompaniment, and counseling, and providing information about the importance of early detection. That information could increase the intrinsic motivation of women to perform breast self-examination so a number of women’s mortality caused by breast cancer could be decreased and breast cancers could be detected earlier.

| 1670919 | #7252 | Knowledge and Perception of Parents Towards Diet in Children With Autism |
Rosi, Ade Purba, Chandra Isabella Hostanida Pratiwi, Sri Hartati |
Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF) is a diet recommendation to reduce hyperactivity in children with autism. Lack of adherence and knowledge can lead to improper dietary application which will result in remaining health problems and hyperactive behavior of autistic children. The purpose of this study is to examine knowledge and perception of parents towards GFCF diet in children with autism. This descriptive-quantitative study used a total sampling technique to 57 parents of autistic children in 3 Bandung District Extraordinary Schools. Data was obtained through questionnaire with validity ranging from 0.315-0.912 and reliability of 0.788 and 0.932. Data was analyzed using frequency and percentage in descriptive statistics. Results showed that some parents lacked of knowledge (n = 28), and 67% of subjects (n = 38) had a positive perception of GFCF diet. Positive perception includes perception of benefits, perception of susceptibility, perception of self efficacy, and perception of severity. In the perception of barrier, some subjects had negative perception. Based on the results, several parents had positive perception of GFCF diet, although the parental knowledge related to this diet was in the low category. That is likely because of parents have not received sufficient information related to GFCF diet. Therefore, health workers especially community nurses are expected to collaborate with nutritionists in making regular visits in order to provide parents of autistic children with health education related to GFCF diet in extraordinary schools.

| 1670918 | #7252 | The Effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation for Fatigue in a Patient with Tuberculosis and Pneumonia |
Rahmania, Sina Sabila Nugraha, Bambang Aditya Sari, Eka Afrima |
Fatigue is a common and persistent symptom in patients with tuberculosis (TB), particularly in recurrent cases and when accompanied by pneumonia. Increased systemic inflammation and reduced activity tolerance often lead to functional decline, while pharmacological treatment alone may not sufficiently address fatigue. Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) is a non-pharmacological intervention that reduces muscle tension and stress, support physiological recovery. This study describes the effect of PMR to reduce fatigue in a patient with recurrent tuberculosis and pneumonia. This study is a case review involving a 65-year-old female patient diagnosed with pulmonary TB and pneumonia. PMR was administered over four consecutive days, with one session lasting 15–20 minutes per session. The sessions were conducted at varying times, including in the morning, afternoon, or before bedtime. Fatigue levels were measured after each session using the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-F) Scale. The patient showed improvement in vital signs, with blood pressure increasing from 108/65 mmHg to 116/61 mmHg, heart rate decreasing from 111 to 62 beats per minute, and the FACIT-F score improved from 12 (severe fatigue) to 36 (mild fatigue), indicating a reduction in fatigue severity. Functionally, the patient was able to walk to the bathroom independently and no longer experienced weakness or dyspnea post-activity. These findings indicate that PMR contributed to a reduction in the patient’s fatigue level. This intervention has potential as a supportive rehabilitative strategy, with adjustments in duration and frequency based on patient condition.
