Irza, Damar Irza Rahayuwati, Laili Witdiawati, Witdiawati Susanti, Raini Diah Yamin, Ahmad |
Basic sanitation is influenced by many factors, one of which is welfare. As a component of welfare formation, income directly or indirectly influences sanitation behaviour, impacting a person's health. In children, poor health and nutritional intake are one of the causes of stunting. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family income and the availability of basic sanitation at a stunting locus, one of which is in a village in Bandung Regency. This research method uses quantitative correlational methods with secondary data analysis. It obtained 204 respondents based on purposive sampling calculations, which were analyzed using the Chi-square test. The study found that the community's income was below the Regency UMK by 58.8%, equivalent to UMK IDR 5,000,000 as much as 38.7%, above IDR 5,000,000 as much as 2.5%. Meanwhile, 77.9% of clean water sources, 70.1% of waste management (latrines) and wastewater, and 5.9% of waste disposal meet the requirements of good condition. The Chi-Square test shows that income has no significant relationship with clean water sources (r=0.448), latrine management (r=0.325), and garbage disposal (r=0.240). So there is no relationship between family income and the availability of basic sanitation, considering that other factors affect the availability of basic sanitation.

Indriani, Ria Solichah, Nur Umi Aminatus Setyawati, Anita |
Spinal anesthesia is among the most often employed regional anaesthetic procedures in perioperative clinical practice. Notwithstanding its multiple benefits, including swift onset of action and effective pain management, this approach remains associated with the potential for post-procedural problems that may affect patient recovery and the quality of anesthesia care. This study aimed to delineate the numerous common problems that arise following spinal anesthesia in adults, utilising findings from current studies via a scoping review methodology. This research employed a scoping review methodology in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR criteria. Fifteen articles were retrieved from the PubMed, Scopus, and Garuda databases utilising pertinent keywords within the publication period of 2020–2025. The inclusion criteria comprised full-text papers authored in either Indonesian or English that addressed issues following spinal anesthesia. Fifteen publications were selected and analysed according to their objectives, methodologies, populations, and findings. The research identified that the most commonly reported problems comprised hypotension, bradycardia, post-dural puncture headache, nausea, shivering, urine retention, and modest neurological sequelae. Factors influencing the occurrence of problems encompass gender, age, hydration condition, technique, and the utilisation of spinal needles. The majority of issues are temporary and can be addressed with supportive or pharmaceutical measures. Complications following spinal anesthesia are prevalent and should be anticipated in the practice of anaesthesiology nursing. A comprehensive grasp of problem types and their associated risk factors might enhance nurse anaesthetists’ efficacy in monitoring, patient education, and post-anesthesia treatment. This study underscores the necessity of enhancing clinical practice standards and education to reduce adverse occurrences

This article used a case report style focused on a single patient in the treatment room. The effectiveness of the SDB intervention was evaluated by the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and by monitoring the patient's blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. The intervention resulted in a decrease in the NRS score from 2 to 0. Additionally, the blood pressure value decreased to normal, the pulse remained within the normal range, and there was no change in the patient's respiratory value for three days post-intervention. Expanding the use of SDB therapies to a more diverse group of patients will enhance the evidence supporting the effectiveness of these interventions.

Diet is one of the main factors related to various diseases including Diabetes Mellitus (DM). High carbohydrate, fat, protein, and low fiber diets can increase the risk of type 2 DM occurrence, especially in the patient’s family as a risk group. Previous research on students with DM families in Central Java still had a high-calorie food consumption pattern. The diversity of population, culture, and age may affect the results. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the diet in the family of patients with type 2 DM in the working area of Puskemas (Community Health Center) Garuda Bandung. This research used a quantitative descriptive method by purposive sampling technique. The respondents in this study involved 46 people who were the children of type 2 DM patients in the working area of Puskesmas Garuda. Dietary data obtained from the food record sheet for 3 days and was calculated using Nutrisurvey software in kilocalories (kcal) as the unit of measurement then the results were categorized based on Consensus Perkeni 2015. Data analysis was using frequency distribution. The results showed that 39 (84.8%) respondents in the diet category less than body requirements, 37 (80.4%) respondents in the category of sufficient carbohydrate intake, 39 (84.6%) respondents in the category of excess fat intake, 45 (97.8%) respondents in the category of adequate protein intake, and 41 (89.1%) respondents in the category of less fiber. The conclusions from this study that almost all families of patients with type 2 DM in the work area of Puskesmas Garuda were in the diet category less than body requirement but with the excess fat intake and less fiber. Based on these results, the nurses in Puskesmas are expected to optimize the outreach programs by addressing families of DM patients to make the diet as an attempt to prevent the risk in the family of patients with type 2 DM.Key words: Diet, DM patients’ families, food record. Gambaran Diet pada Keluarga Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2AbstrakDiet adalah salah satu faktor utama yang berhubungan dengan berbagai penyakit termasuk Diabetes Melitus (DM).
