The development of technology-based businesses has increased as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. One of them is e-commerce as an online shopping service provider. The purpose of this study is to analyze and discuss the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust in actual system use decisions. Respondents in this study were people aged 1539 who had used the Tokopedia application in 2020 and accessed it via smartphone. The sample used was 200 respondents. The sampling method using non-probability sampling, and the sampling technique is judgemental sampling. The data collection techniques using an online questionnaire and analyzed using Path Analysis in AMOS program 23 version. This study found that perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on trust and actual system use. Perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on trust but does not affect actual system use. Moreover, trust has a positive and significant effect on actual system use. Furthermore, the result was found that perceived ease of use and usefulness positively affect actual system use with trust a mediating variable. Based on these result, it is recommended that Tokopedia could improve the easiness and the usefulness of their application system while keep maintaining the trust of its users.

Financial distress is the stage when a company experiences a decline in financial performance before bankruptcy occurs. This study aims to examine the effect of financial indicators and ownership structure on financial distress. The independent variables in financial indicators include profitability, activity, growth, liquidity, and leverage. The ownership structure includes managerial ownership and institutional ownership. This research period is for five years, from 2014 to 2018. This study's population are companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling method and obtained 16 companies as samples. The results of data analysis using the logistic regression method. The results showed that the current ratio and debt to assets ratio significantly affected financial distress. Meanwhile, the variables return on assets, total assets turnover, sales growth, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership do not significantly affect financial distress. The solution that the trade, service can carry out, and investment industry sector that has negative EPS in a row is to pay off short-term obligations within a predetermined period and maximize the benefits of debt as a tax deduction so that financial distress for companies can be avoided.

SMEs are one of the economic contributors in East Java, and performance factors are one of the drivers of the advancement of SMEs. BPS 2016 - 2018 shows that the City of Mojokerto SMEs only contribute 0,29%, categorized as the least East Java GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) contributor among other cities. This study focuses on SMEs of Mojokerto City. This research aims to find out the influence of environmental dynamism, dynamic capabilities, and financial literacy. This research is determined as quantitative causalities. The sampling method used is random sampling. 100 SMEs were being used as a sample taken from 3553 SMEs from Mojokerto City as a population. Data analysis using multiple linear regression and test instruments using SPSS 25. The result of this research is that the variable financial literacy has a positive effect on SME performance. In contrast, the variables environmental dynamism and dynamic capabilities did not affect SME performance. Mojokerto City SMEs should be aware of financial literacy rather than environmental dynamism and dynamic capabilities to increase SMEs' performance.

This study aims to analyze consumer preferences for organic food in Surabaya and recommend the strategic implications of using the Business Model Canvas to open organic food outlets. The research design was carried out with a quantitative descriptive method approach. The sampling method was carried out by judgmental sampling technique, with the respondents' criteria being 100 consumers of organic products. In this study, the types of data collected were: primary data in the form of a questionnaire distributed to people who shop at organic food restaurants in Surabaya; secondary data, as the data or information obtained through literature studies, theories, and literature related to organic food, and the variables used are perceptions of lifestyle, perceptions of health, perceptions of environmental impacts and perceptions of the Greens community as independent variables and interest in buying organic products in Surabaya as the dependent variable. Shopee is one of the favourable marketplaces in Indonesia. This research investigates impulse buying among Shopee user. In addition, it also analyzes the relationship between practical value, hedonic value, browsing, and impulse buying tendency. The survey was conducted using an online questionnaire and collected data from 211 respondents, the Shopee marketplace application users. Analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the Partial Least Square (PLS) program is used to analyze the data. The results show that the utilitarian value does not affect impulse buying tendency via browsing, and hedonic value affects impulse buying tendency via browsing. This research has limitations, which are: this research only involves the Shopee marketplace, so it is possible that it cannot be generalized to all types of marketplaces, and for further investigation, it can add or compare other marketplaces such as Tokopedia, Lazada, and Blibli. Supposedly, this study calls other variables, such as expressive value, sacrifice value, web quality, and purchase intention.

The study investigated the intention of working women to buy green cosmetic products. In addition, it also analyzes the relationship between motivational factors, purchase preferences, and tendency towards health consciousness on the purchase intention of green cosmetic products. A model was developed to understand the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. Motivational factors, purchase preferences, and tendency towards health consciousness were considered as independent variables and purchase intention of green cosmetic products as the dependent variable. The survey was conducted using an online questionnaire and collected data from 119 working women. Multiple linear regression in SPSS software was used to analyze the collected data. The results show that motivational factors have no significant effect on the purchase intention of green cosmetics. Meanwhile, purchase preferences and tendency towards health consciousness significantly affect purchase intention of green cosmetics. This study focuses on a group of working women. Future research may involve demographic variables, spending on buying green products, and lifestyle variables. Further research can also use in-depth interviews and focus group discussions on finding out more details regarding the use of green products. The green product is also closely related to the high-involvement product. It becomes interesting to involve it in further research.

Indonesia is one of the top 4 world footwear producers. On the other hand, there are many well-known foreign brand shoes in Indonesia. Ventela is one of a famous shoes local brand in Indonesia. The local consumers have preferences concerning the shoe producer country of origin. Local people prefer to buy local brand shoes if they have an ethnocentric taste and good perceptions about the local brand. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of consumer ethnocentrism, perceived quality, perceived price, and perceived brand image toward a willingness to buy Ventela shoes. The survey was conducted using an online questionnaire and collected data from 205 young generations. Multiple linear regression in SPSS software was used to analyze the collected data. This study shows that consumer ethnocentrism, perceived quality, and perceived price significantly affected willingness to buy. Meanwhile, the perceived brand image had no significant effect on willingness to buy. Further research is suggested to compare several local fashion brands with different positioning. The results of this study can be used as input for Ventela shoes in facing business competition and business development by paying attention to the variables used.

This study aims to determine the effect of physical attractiveness, attitude homophily, social attractiveness, credibility, and parasocial interaction on cosmetics purchase intention based on the TasyaFarasya review. TasyaFarasya is one of the beauty vloggers on YouTube and Instagram. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling which is judgmental sampling. In this study, the respondents are women; they knew TasyaFarasya as a beauty vlogger; the age is around 17-35 years and watched content from TasyaFarasya. The number of samples is 200 respondents. The data was processed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS software version 3.3.3. The findings of this study indicate that physical attractiveness, homophily attitudes have a significant effect on credibility. While physical attractiveness and social attractiveness significantly affect parasocial interactions, homophily attitudes do not affect parasocial interactions. Credibility does not affect purchase intention, but parasocial interaction has a significant effect on purchase intention. Further research can add information and building motive variables. It is also interesting to see further how the interaction between vlogger viewers.

This research aims to explain how competence and work motivation affect employee performance in an insurance company. This research use 35 employees at PT. Asuransi Umum Bumi Putera Muda Unit Syariah Surabaya as a sample. Data collection use observations, interviews and (primary) questionnaires. This research uses data analysis of validity, reliability, classic assumption, and hypothesis tests. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression with SPSS. This research shows that competence and work motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance. Partially, competence has positive and significant on employee performance. The result shows that the competencies possessed by the employee have an impact on employee performance. As well as role work motivation has positive and not significant on employee performance. The results of data testing show that the work motivation provided by the company has no impact on employee performance. The company must facilitate employees to increase competence and work motivation since employee performance correlates with firm performance.

The current condition of women in the Bantul Coast has low knowledge, skills, creative attitudes, and aspirations, which results in many women living in poverty. Therefore, women on the coast need to be empowered. Women's empowerment that needs to be done is empowerment in the economic field which is useful for overcoming poverty and education that is useful for developing organizational skills. This study aims to examine the effect of educational empowerment and economic empowerment on new venture creation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy as moderating variables in women on the Bantul coast. The sample in this study are women who are members of the Family Welfare Development (PKK) group in the coastal village of Bantul. The analytical model used is the Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study are the first effect of economic empowerment on new venture creation, the second is the effect of educational empowerment on new venture creation, and the third is entrepreneurial self-efficacy moderating the effect of education empowerment and economic empowerment on new venture creation. Investment activity in Indonesia steadily increases as more people become aware of the investment's value and potential returns. This study aims to determine the impact of status quo bias, herding behavior, representation, and mental accounting on the investment decisions of millennial investors in Surabaya. This study is conclusive because it used purposive and snowball sampling techniques to obtain samples by distributing online questionnaires”the research sample as many as 241 respondents. The analysis technique uses Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study focuses on millennial investors registered with the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) and securities firms in Surabaya. The findings suggest that the variables status quo and regret aversion significantly bias investment decisions, whereas herding behavior, representativeness, and mental accounting do not affect investment decisions. Thus, this study can assist various parties, particularly millennial investors, pay more attention to their biases and be more cautious when making investment decisions

Working in the financial services sector, such as assurance and banking, can be stressful for employees. However, employees who have organizational attachments and coworkers support will reduce turnover. This investigation intends to analyze the impact of coworker support on turnover intention through organizational embeddedness as an intermediary variable at PT. BCA KCP Kapas Krampung Surabaya. The sampling technique used saturated samples with a total of 34 employees. Data were gathered by conducting interviews and spreading questionnaires to employees, then processed using SmartPLS 3.3.3 software tools. The finding proves that coworker support has a significantly positive effect either on organizational embeddedness and turnover intention. Furthermore, organizational embeddedness also holds a significant and negative influence on turnover intention. This result supported the existing theories based on a thorough analysis of the literature.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many sectors, one of which is the capital market. The Coronavirus has claimed lives and can shake the order of life of a country. From an economic point of view, almost all countries experience a recession, a reduction in economic activity, increased unemployment, and a decline in people's purchasing power. This research examines the effect of the BI interest rate, exchange rate, inflation, SSEC index, KLSE index, SET index, and DJIA index on the Composite Stock Price Index. The research population is daily data during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia from March 2020 to November 2020. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The number of samples is 111 data. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS 25 software tools. The results show that the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar has a negative effect and the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange has a positive effect on the Composite Stock Price Index, while the BI interest rate, inflation, SSEC index, the SET index and the DJIA index have no impact on the Composite Stock Price Index. However, all independent variables simultaneously affect the Composite Stock Price Index.

PDAM Giri Tirta of Gresik Regency is a Regional Owned Enterprise engaged in distributing clean water to all areas of Gresik Regency to meet the basic needs of clean water for all communities. The impact of the pandemic's environmental change has affected the work-life of employees and has an impact on the level of job satisfaction and employee performance. This study aimed to determine and explain how work-life balance affects employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research is a type of quantitative research. The object of the research at PDAM Giri Tirta, Gresik Regency, Menganti Branch. Sampling technique using the saturated technique, namely all populations of the research object, totalling 32 employees as the research sample. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with the help of SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. The results showed that work-life balance had a significant positive effect on employee performance. Work-life balance has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has no significant effect but is positively related to employee performance, and work-life balance does not significantly affect employee performance through job satisfaction. So that job satisfaction does not have a mediating role between work-life balance and employee performance

This study examines the influence of job resourcefulness on individual crafting and collaborative crafting through work engagement as a mediator variable. This research uses a quantitative approach, using a survey to collect data. The sample in this study amounted to 100 employees from 4-star hotels throughout Surabaya who are registered in the Traveloka. This research used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the assistance of Smart PLS 3.0 software as the statistical analysis. This research shows that job resourcefulness has a significant positive direct influence on individual crafting and has a significant and positive individual influence on individual crafting through work engagement on 4-star hotel employees. Job resourcefulness is found to have a significant and negative direct influence on collaborative crafting. Job resourcefulness has a significantly direct indirect influence on collaborative crafting through work engagement with 4-star hotel employees. The implications of this study need to increase the collaborative crafting employees by involving all employees in the procurement of discussion forums, so they can harmonize the thought between employees in the company so that the existence of the forum there will be similarities of perceptions so that work collaboration can be well established.

The focus in this study is to discuss the effect of employee resilience on employee performance with life satisfaction as a mediation variable. The object of this research is the nurses at Rumah Sakit Islam Surabaya with the respondents is 71 nurses. This study used quantitative methods to process questionnaires that have previously been distributed online. Then used statistical analysis Partial Least Square with smartPLS 3.3 program. This study shows that there is a positive and significant influence between employee resilience to performance and employee life satisfaction. However, there was no significant influence found between satisfaction on employee performance. Furthermore, the relationship between employee resilience and employee performance through life satisfaction variables as a mediation was not found to have a significant effect. The implication of this research is that to maintain and improve the performance of nurses, it is necessary to have adaptive and resilient nurses in facing various challenges in the world of work, regardless of the level of life satisfaction of nurses.

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of teamwork on employee performance through employees' job satisfaction at PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang Jawa Timur. This research is causality research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research is 159 employees. The sample was collected through a random sampling technique and obtained 62 respondents”the statistical analysis using Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that teamwork has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, teamwork has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Teamwork has no significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction. Companies can encourage employees to do teamwork by creating teams to complete tasks.

Experiencing engaging experiential marketing and a good image from the company makes visitors feel experiential satisfaction and revisit intention. This study aims to determine the effect of experiential marketing and zoo image on revisit intention with experiential satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study used 200 samples with a non-probability sampling technique using the purposive sampling method. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. The analytical tool in this research is path analysis using AMOS and IBM SPSS. Based on the study results, experiential marketing positively affects experiential satisfaction and revisit intention directly, unlike the zoo image, which positively affects experiential satisfaction but not revisit intention. As a suggestion, Surabaya Zoo can improve visitors' image, such as improving the services provided and adding engaging experiential marketing to attract visitors' engagement again in the future.

The Covid-19 virus that spreads globally has an impact on economic growth in Indonesia. Several business sectors have experienced a decline in performance due to the government's restrictions on outdoor activities to prevent the spread of this virus. For this reason, SMEs must be able to adjust their marketing channels from offline to online to optimize marketing performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the online marketing tools is social media. This study investigates the use of social media on marketing performance with innovation capability and branding capability as mediating variables. This study uses 200 samples of respondents who are the owners of SMEs that collected through an online questionnaire. We use the Partial Least Square (PLS) method to test the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that social media has a significant effect on innovation capability and branding capability and helps SMEs improve their marketing performance. This research also proves that innovation capability and branding capability successfully mediate the influence of the relationship between social media use on marketing performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of empowering leadership on teachers performance with psychological empowerment as a mediating variable. Research object at SMPN 1 Pacitan and SMPN 2 Pacitan. This study uses quantitative methods with a population of 101 teachers and uses a simple random sampling technique with 81 respondents. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with analysis method, namely Partial Least Square (PLS). Data processing used Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study conclude that empowering leadership has a significant positive effect on teachers performance, empowering leadership has a significant positive effect on psychological empowerment, psychological empowerment has a significant positive effect on teachers performance, and psychological empowerment as a mediating variable affects the relationship between empowering leadership and teachers performance. Principals must increase the effectiveness of empowering leadership by applying high work discipline so that the psychological empowerment of teachers will also increase and have a good impact on the teacher's performance. Local government support in the provision of learning support infrastructure also needs to be improved, thus making it easier for teachers to improve the quality of teaching to students.
