Penggunaan aksara Jawa di era modernisasi ini mengalami degradasi khususnya bagi masyarakat Jawa sendiri. Aksara Jawa dianggap sudah tidak relevan dengan kehidupan saat ini dan dianggap sulit membuat aksara ini jarang digunakan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan agar aksara Jawa tetap lestari adalah dengan mengembangkannya di instansi pendidikan. Akan tetapi dalam dunia pendidikan pun aksara Jawa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa juga mengalami penurunan karena dianggap monoton. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pembaruan pembelajaran aksara Jawa yaitu dengan kaligrafi aksara Jawa. Dengan menggunakan media ini siswa bebas berekspresi sesuai dengan imajinasi mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran aksara Jawa agar senantiasa tetap lestari sebagai kekayaan budaya nasional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara menganalisis data dan sumber data secara deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah minat siswa dalam pembelajarn aksara Jawa meningkat dan siswa dapat memahami penulisan aksara Jawa. Pembelajaran yang didasari pada rasa senang akan dapat mencapai indikator secara optimal.

Psikologi sastra merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang mengamati kejiwaan serta perilaku manusia. Dengan memusatkan pada kejiwaan serta perilaku manusia, maka akan diperoleh konflik batin yang sesuai dengan teori psikologi sastra. Dalam sebuah naskah sandiwara Jawa tentunya terdapat konflik batin antar tokoh yang dapat membangun jalan cerita dalam nakah. Naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung menceritakan permasalahan dalam keluarga yang menimbulkan sebuah konflik batin antar tokoh. Naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung merupakan naskah yang belum dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Naskah sandiwara tersebebut mengandung aspek psikologi sastra teori psikologi Sigman Freud yaitu id, ego, dan superego. Selain itu, naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung juga mengandung nilai moral yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar di Sekolah Menengah Pertama kelas IX. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu analisis dokumen dan wawancara mendalam. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa kata-kata dan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan teori psikologi sastra seperti id, ego, dan superego.

The implementation of politeness principles can still be found in a film, one of which is the short film "Ibu" on the YouTube channel Bakar Production. Adhering to these politeness principles can serve as an example for viewers of the film. Therefore, this study aims to describe and explain the politeness principles (maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of praise, maxim of humility, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy) according to Leech in the short film "Ibu" on the YouTube channel Bakar Production to prevent inappropriate speech in communication. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a pragmatic approach. The data collection technique used in this study is document analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is flow analysis. The data validation technique used for this research is theory triangulation. The results of this study reveal the presence of 29 instances of adherence to Leech's politeness principles, encompassing all six maxims. By adhering to Leech's politeness principles in the film, it is hoped that society, especially teenagers, can emulate polite language in the film and apply it in their daily communication.

The aims of this research was to identify the language politeness on short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine as subject matters of Javanese in Junior High School at writing dialog involving parent’s basic competence. The result of this research concluded as follows: (1) the being maxim of language politeness of short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine covering six maxims such as used maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of appreciation, maxim of simplicity, maxim of consensuality, and maxim of sympathy; (2) the background of the language politeness behaviour that was used in short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine caused by four factors. Those were respect older people, respect people in the same age, teach and respect younger people, and match perception with other people; (3) short story in Crita Taman Putra rubric of Jaya Baya magazine relevance as subject matters with some supporting factors such as the used of language were understandable, the use of vocabulary that suitable with Javanese, and contain character education values.

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the educational value contained in  the  piweling geguritan anthology by Devika Herfianingtyas. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a content analysis approach. The data in this study is in the form of words, phrases, or sentences in the  piweling geguritan anthology by Devika Herfianingtyas. The data sources are in the form of documents, namely piweling anthology books, reference books, and relevant journals. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling which is carried out selectively by selecting words, phrases, or sentences in the  Piweling geguritan anthology  that can represent the answer to the problem formulation that has been made. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by analyzing the educational value in  the piweling geguritan  anthology by Devika Herfianingtyas. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis, the educational values found in  Devika Herfianingtyas' anthology of Piweling geguritan are religious values, moral values, social values, and cultural values.

Abstrak Sosiologi sastra merupakan kajian yang digunakan untuk penelitian yang berkaitan dengan masyarakat dalam karya sastra. Naskah drama Prasetyaku karya Rudyaso Febriadhi, mengandung aspek-aspek dari sosiologi sastra di dalamnya. Aspek sosiologi sastra yang terkandung dalam naskah drama Prasetyaku meliputi aspek kekerabatan, aspek pendidikan, aspek moral, aspek sosial, aspek politik, dan aspek cinta kasih. Penelitian ini tidak hanya menyajikan aspek sosiologi sastra saja di dalamnya, tetapi juga menyajikan struktur intrinsik di dalamnya. Struktur intrinsik tersebut mencakup tema dan amanat, tokoh dan penokohan, alur, latar, konflik atau tikaian, dan cakapan. Selain aspek-aspek sosiologi sastra dan struktur intrinsik yang terkandung dalam naskah drama Prasetyaku, naskah ini juga direlevansikan dengan materi ajar bahasa Jawa kelas IX KD 3.3 menelaah teks sandiwara Jawa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Penelitian yang meggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra ini tergolong dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.

This study examines the adaptation of Sanskrit lexicons in the Javanese language, a process persisting since the 4th century CE as an instrument of religion, literature, and political authority. The primary focus is to identify systematic patterns of phonological change and semantic shifts that facilitated the integration of this foreign language into the local system. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach within a historical linguistic perspective, data analysis was conducted through etymological tracing of Old and Modern Javanese text corpora, phonotactic classification to map sound transformations, and synchronic diachronic analysis to detect semantic evolution. The findings reveal that phonological adaptation occurred through deaspiration and consonant cluster simplification to satisfy Javanese phonological constraints. Semantically, a “nativization” of meaning took place through mechanisms of narrowing, widening, and recontextualization aligned with the community's sociocultural reality. These findings affirm that the Javanese language functions as an active filter that nativizes Sanskrit elements, rendering them an integral part of the Nusantara linguistic identity that remains adaptive to this day.

The research aimed to describe and explain the forms of speech acts expressive novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi, and the relevance of the novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi with javanese language teaching materials in senior high school. The method in this research  is a qualitative  with a content analysis approach using pragmatic theory to determine the form of expressive speech acts contained in  novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi. The data source in this research is a novel entitled Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi which was published by Pustaka Ilalang in August 2020. The data collection techniques used were documentation or document analysis techniques, and interviewing informants. The validity of data using theoretical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the forms of expressive speech acts found in novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi include expressive speech acts of include 4 expressive speech acts of thanking, 5 expressive speech acts of praising,3 expressive speech acts of pardoning,4 expressive speech acts condoling, 1 expressive speech acts of congratulating, and 5 expressive speech acts of blaming. In addition, novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi is relevant if it is used as teaching material for Javanese language in high school, precisely at KD 3.2, namely "Understanding the contents of Javanese novel texts".

Sastra sebagai  wujud kebudayaan yang hidup dan berkembang dalam masyarakat. Pada penelitian ini, kami mengangkat sastra lisan mengenai Sumur Sanga dan Kebo Bule. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui struktur naratif cerita dari Sumur Sanga dan Kebo Bule serta tanggapan masyarakat terhadap dua cerita tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode struktur naratif Alan Dundes. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan motifeme dari Sumur Sanga yaitu lack, interdiction, task, lack, dan lack liquidate. Sedangkan Kebo Bule ditemukan motifeme lack liquidate, task, lack, lack liquidate, task completed, dan lack liquidate. Dapat disimpulkan dari kedua cerita tersebut terdapat motifeme yang sama yakni diakhiri motifeme lack liquidate. Sedangkan perbedaannya didalam cerita Sumur Sanga terdapat motifem interdiction dan pada cerita Kebo Bule tidak ada interdiction tetapi ada task completed. Selain itu, terdapat tanggapan dari masyarakat terhadap mitos cerita Sumur Sanga dan Kebo Bule yang sebagian masyarakat mempercayai mitos tersebut.

This research aims to analyze structural and moral value in the manuscript of The Semboja Kapugeran ketoprak by Bondan Nusantara. Using qualitative, this research uses descriptive methods of analysis in order to obtain the results of the analysis as expected. The elements analyzed in this study are plot, characterization, settings, theme and message. The results showed there were eleven symbolic figures and their respective characters, the script has an advanced plot consisting of exposition, complications, climax and falling action. It's about a romance that's motivated by a family grudge. The message that can be taken is that revenge will only bring havoc in life.

Culture in Indonesia is very diverse, including Javanese culture. This culture developed through the acculturation process that occurred in Javanese society. Each culture has its own meaning or symbolism which is usually connected between humans and God. The Malem Selikuran di Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat tradition has quite a broad meaning. This tradition is not only a celebration, but also has meaning contained in it, for example a means to strengthen a Muslim's faith, strengthen ties of brotherhood, and preserve culture. In today's life, it is important to maintain unity, respect existing diversity, and to always be grateful for the blessings that God has given. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This approach is used because the ethnographic approach focuses on sociological meaning through field observations of sociocultural phenomena, so that the data obtained is quite clear. The results of this research are in the form of symbolic meaning contained in the traditional activities of the Malem Selikuran in the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat.

This research aims to describe and explain the elements of sociology of literature, religious values, and the relevance of folklore Kyai Karsoredjo hamlet Pandanan as an alternative Javanese teaching materials for VII grade student in junior High Scool. The research used descriptive qualitative research method with folklore approach, sociology of literature and religious values. The conclucion of this research is the result of sociology of literature of Kyai Karsoredjo folklore in Pandanan region that indicates the social values contained in the story such as: mutual cooperation, cooperation, helping each other are dominant. Meanwhile, religious values are contained in the folklore such as: fasting, alms and pilgrimage. In addition, it is relevant as a teaching material of Javanese class of VII student in junior high school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) unsur instrinsik dalam crita cekak pada majalah Panjebar Semangat; (2) unsur psikologi tokoh utama dalam crita cekak pada majalah Panjebar Semangat; (3) nilai pendidikan budi pekerti dalam crita cekak pada majalah Panjebar Semangat; dan (4) relevansi crita cekak pada majalah Panjebar Semangat sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan pada majalah Panjebar Semangat. Populasi penelitian adalah majalah Panjebar Semangat edisi tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pedekatan psikologi sastra. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga teknik, yaitu teknik analisis dokumen, teknik kapustakan, dan wawancara. Teknik yang digunakan untuk uji validitas adalah triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan/verifikasi.

THE LITERARY SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE MIDDLE TEXT NGGAYUH LINTANG BY UDYN UPEWEOne of the negative impacts of the times and increasingly advanced technology is the moral formation of the younger generation which is often underestimated, this can result in them being carried away by bad currents. The object of this research is Udyn Upewe's drama script, Cebol Nggayuh Lintang. The purpose of this research is to analyze the content of literary works about social problems in research objects that reflect the moral picture of the younger generation. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research using a literary sociology approach to the content of literary works. The data sources used are documents in the form of drama scripts and the results of interviews with informants. Document analysis was carried out by reading and sorting excerpts from the dialogues of the Cebol Ngayuh Lintang text which contained sociological aspects of literary works. Based on the results of the analysis, this study found 4 sociological aspects of literary works in the manuscript of Cebol Nggayuh Lintang, namely (1) social aspects, (2) moral aspects, (3) religious aspects, and (4) kinship aspects. So that the script Cebol Ngayuh Lintang which contains 4 sociological aspects of literary works can be used as an example to the younger generation to instill good habits. This can be one of the efforts to build good morals so that bad things don't get carried away.

Every cmmunity in a particular region possesses cultural traditions that can serve as symbols of identity, including the traditional of Slup-slupan Omah. The tradition of Slup-slupan Omah is one manifestation of Javanese culture found in the Sragen regency. The tradition pf Slup-slupan Omah is still practiced to this day due to the symbolicmeaning embedded within it. This research aims to (1) identify ubarampe in the Slup-slupan Omah; (2) analyze the symbolic meaning of ubarampe Slup-slupan Omah. The research method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive using a smiotic approach based on the principles of Charles Sanders Peirce. The data sources obtained for this research are from observation, documentation, and interviews. The technique used to research subjects is purposive sampling. The data validity test in this study employs thetheoretical and data source triangulation techniques. Data collection involves the use of interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data analysis technique in this study employs an interactive approach consisting of four components: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this research, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) there are 35 forms of ubarampe used in the Slup-slupan Omah tradition, and (2) there are 35 symbolic meanings associated with the ubarampe in the Slup-slupan Omah tradition.

This research were aims to describe the physical element, describe the inner element, describe the value of character education, and describe the relevance of the intrinsic elements of the analysis and the value of character education in Serat  Wulangreh pupuh Sinom and its relevance as a matter of learning the Javanesse language in junior high school. This study is a qualitative research approach with analysis contents. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained a summary of that element of intrinsic Serat Wulangreh pupuh Sinom consists of inner and physical structure. Physical structure is diction of vocabulary, use of the kawi language form of words are tembung garba, tembung plutan and wancahan, the use of passive form (den, infix-in-), use of suffixes – ipun,-ira, and –neki, then use of prefixes nasal and tembung baliswara. The imaginary include visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Concrete words that indicate the actual meaning of the word, figurative language include hiperbola and the symbolism of objects. Rima include purwakanthi swara, purwakanthi sastra, and purwakanthi basa. Metrum includes paugeran guru wilangan, guru gatra and guru lagu. Typography using conventional typography. Inner structure is themes and a message. The theme of Serat Wulangreh pupuh Sinom is the grammar rules of behavior and a message contain message author about how it should behave towards yourself, other people and toward God. The value of character education includes values of honesty, hard work, religious values, the values of peace, the values of responsibility, the spirit of nationality and love for the motherland. Analysis of the intrinsic element and the value of character education in Serat Wulangreh pupuh Sinom worthy and relevant material to serve as learning the Javanesse language in junior high school in class VII semester II at KD 3.2 and KD 4.2.

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna meningkatkan keterampilan menulis aksara Jawa pada siswa kelas X Asisten Keperawatan SMK Bhakti Karya Karanganyar menggunakan model pembelajaran kumon dan media gambar yang berjumlah 15 siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) ini mengimplementasikan metode pendekatan kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Data kualitatif bedasarkan hasil analisis dari wawancara guru kelas X mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa, siswa, silabus, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Data kuantitatif berdasarkan hasil analisis dari hasil tes, observasi guru dan siswa. Hasil data tes dijabarkan dengan melihat nilai rata-rata saat pratindakan, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada pratindakan, siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 57 dengan persentase ketuntasan 13,34%. Pada siklus I menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 71,2 dengan persentase ketuntasan 40,02%. Tindakan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,26 yang sudah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal, namun persentase 60,03% yang berarti belum memenuhi indikator kesuksesan penelitian. Penelitian dilanjutkan hingga siklus III dengan nilai rata-rata 87,8 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, model pembelajaran kumon dan media gambar yang digunakan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pada siswa. Maka disarankan kepada guru untuk menggunakan dan memilih model dan media pembelajaran variatif seperti model pembelajaran kumon dan media gambar, serta memotivasi siswa untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis aksara Jawa pada siswa.

Karya sastra merupakan sebuah hasil karya yang umumnya tidak terikat aturan. Contoh karya sastra salah satunya adalah geguritan. Geguritan adalah puisi modern yang penulisannya menggunakan bahasa Jawa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif di bidang bahasa yang berfokus pada kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk memaparkan bentuk kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal dalam geguritan karya Mbah Brintik yang dimuat oleh majalah Panjebar Semangat edisi tahun 2016 serta relevansinya sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Jawa untuk SMA. Data berupa kata, frasa, dan klausa pada geguritan yang mengandung kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal bersumber dari geguritan karya Mbah Brintik dalam majalah Panjebar Semangat edisi tahun 2016. Data relevansi bersumber dari informan yang terdiri dari guru bahasa Jawa dan siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta serta ahli bahasa. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa teknik analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Uji validitas data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi data dan teori. Teknik analisis data dalam pelitian ini meliputi tiga komponen yaitu tahap reduksi data, sajian data yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan narasi, kemudian penarikan simpulan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa hasil kohesi leksikal dan gramatikal dalam geguritan karya Mbah Brintik yang dimuat oleh majalah Panjebar Semangat edisi tahun 2016. Pertama terdapat kohesi leksikal yang terdiri dari repetisi, sinonimi, antonimi, hiponimi, dan kolokasi. Kedua terdapat kohesi gramatikal yang terdiri dari referensi, substitusi, elipsis, dan konjungsi. Hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar bahasa Jawa dalam kompetensi dasar menelaah teks geguritan sebagaimana termuat dalam kurikulum 2013 provinsi Jawa Tengah untuk mata pelajaran muatan lokal bahasa Jawa SMA kelas XII. Penerapan tersebut berlaku untuk seluruh wilayah di Jawa Tengah sebab objek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa Jawa dialek Solo-Jogja yang merupakan bahasa baku dari bahasa Jawa.

This research aims to disseminate. (1) Principle of language politeness on the staging of puppet climen play Semar Kelangan Wadhag, (2) a form of violation of the principle of language politeness in the staging of puppet climen play Semar Kelangan Wadhag and (3) Relevance of the results of analysis of puppet performance climen play Semar Kelangan Wadhag as an alternative teaching material understanding the contents of the mahabharata story text class X even semester. This type of research is a descriptive analysis. The method used in collecting this research data is to check and do the transcript process on the staging of puppets of semar Kelangan Wadhag to produce manuscripts (texts). The next process is data identification, and finally data reduction is carried out. The validity of data is derived from the process of triangulation of data sources, observations, and theories. The results : (1) a form of the principle of language manners in the performance of puppet climen play Semar Kelangan Wadhag in accordance with Geoffrey Leech's principle of (a) maksim wisdom, (b) maximal mercy, (c) maximality, (d) maximal acceptance, (e) maksim humility, and (f) maximal fit. The principle of the dominant language manners in this story is the maxim, because in this story the puppeteer emphasizes to always be wise in overcoming all problems. (2) The form of violation of the principle of politeness in this story is dominant in the maxim of acceptance or appreciation of a number of 5 (five) data, because in this story there are many conflicts that demean the opposing figure. (3) Relevance of the results of the analysis of puppet performance climen play Semar Kelangan Wadhag as an alternative teaching material to understand the contents of the mahabharata story text class X even semester. After analysis and interviews in this study can be used as teaching material to understand the contents of the mahabharata story text of class X even semester. With the puppet climate, it provides a new color for learning material with a short duration but still contains the moral values contained in the puppet performances that are played, because this play contains moral values and character and is by today's conditions.

This research is aimed to: (1) explain the obstacles learning to reading skill of Java lettered sentences with sandhangan panyigeg in the class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Jatiroto in the academic year of 2014/ 2015 and (2) describe the improvement of reading skill of Java lettered sentences with sandhangan panyigeg in the class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Jatiroto in the academic year of 2014/ 2015 through cooperative learning type snowball throwing. This research carried out two cycles. Source data derived from informants, events, and documents/ archives. The technique of data collecting were used are from interview, observation, documentation, and test. Data validity used the technique of triangulation source. The technique of data analyzing were comparative descriptive analysis and critical analysis technique. The conclusion of the research is there would be some obstacles that occur in implementating of learning to reading skill of Java lettered sentences with sandhangan panyigeg. The implementation of cooperative learning type snowball throwing can improve reading skill of Java lettered sentences with sandhangan panyigeg in the class VII A of SMP Negeri 1 Jatiroto in the academic year of 2014/ 2015.
